CONSULTING FIRMS AZIERTA AND PVPHARM SIGN STRATEGIC ALLIANCE IN THE AREA OF PHARMACOVIGILANCE

The Alliance will jointly design and market advanced pharmacovigilance services both nationally and internationally.

The Alliance will be a national leader in the sector in the provision of comprehensive pharmacovigilance services and a European benchmark.

Madrid, April 2020. AZIERTA, a global science and health consulting firm specialized in accompanying the healthcare industry in its scientific development, manufacturing, distribution and Science to business and PVPHARM, a strategic consulting firm specialized in pharmacovigilance services, both nationally and internationally, to marketing authorization holders, clinical trial sponsors and other pharmacovigilance service providers, have signed a strategic alliance for the development of comprehensive pharmacovigilance services.

The alliance places both companies in a leading position in the healthcare consultancy sector in the field of pharmacovigilance, currently providing services to more than 2,000 clients representing 80% of the pharmaceutical industry and a share of nearly 25% of the pharmacovigilance services market.

Within the framework of the Alliance, Mr. José Alberto Ayala Ortiz, CEO of PVPHARM, will assume the responsibility of Pharmacovigilance Business Director at AZIERTA, with the aim of boosting the positioning of the Alliance both nationally and internationally, while developing, in collaboration with the technical teams of AZIERTA and PVPHARM, new services in the area of pharmacovigilance that offer the market strategic solutions in this area.
